The leadership of Abeokuta Girls’ Grammar School Old Girls Association, Aggsoga, led by the Global President, Mrs Olusolape Ajibola in company of the former Global President, Justice Mosunmola Dipeolu, the Chief Judge of Ogun State, paid a condolence visit to the Lawson and Jiboku Families recently.

 

The Aggsoga Global President and her team, Branch Presidents of the Association and members made the visit to commiserated with the families on the demise of their illustrious Sister, Aunt, mother and Grandmother, Iyalode Alaba Oluwaseun Lawson, nee Jiboku.

AGGSOGA Global President, Mrs Olusolape Ajibola said the Association is deeply saddened by Iyalode Alaba Lawson’s death.

She said the late Iyalode Alaba Lawson, was “an individual who touched many lives with her kindness, grace, strength, boldness, fearlessness, resilience, truthfulness, regardless of whose ox is gored.”

The AGGSOGA entourage included the Chief Judge of Ogun State: Justice Mosunmola Dipeolu; Dr. Mrs Bolanle Hammond, Former Ogun State Commissioner for Education, representing Lagos Island/ Ikoyi Branch; Engineer (Mrs) Yejide Falode; Pastor (Mrs)  Omolola Adeyinka, Global Secretary; Ms Bukonla Jiboku, Global Auditor;

Dr. Oluwatosin Soyinka, Global Financial Secretary; Mrs Mobolaji Ololade, Sango/Ota Branch President; Dr. Ibiyemi, Mrs Abeni Taiwo and a host of others.

Everyone on the visit recalled Alaba Lawson’s great strides and positive impacts on many lives.

Responding on behalf of the family, Mr Akinola Lawson, the first born of the deceased thanked the Global President, Mrs Olusolape Ajibola and er entourage for the visit and for commiserating with them at the time of the demise of their mother. He assured the Aggsoga Global family that, the Association will be carried along about the preparation of their mother’s burial.
