Tope Oyekan Felicitates Gov. Abiodun On Supreme Court Verdict, Charges Him To Be Magnanimous In Victory

Temitope Olusola Oyekan, an indigene of Iperu Remo, Ogun State, has felicitated Prince Adedapo Oluseun Abiodun, CON, Governor of Ogun State, on his recent victory in the post-election litigation at the Supreme Court.
Oyekan, a retired Deputy Director of Information in the Ogun State Local Government Service, and erstwhile Head, Information, Education, and Sports, Ikenne Local Government, according to a release made available to the press, felicitates the governor just as the highest court of the land has affirmed him as the duly and validly-elected governor of Ogun State, in the March 18, 2023 gubernatorial election.
He described the governor’s triumph as one that is divinely-ordained, acknowledging the supremacy and awesomeness of God over every other creatures.
Oyekan therefore charged the governor to always put God first in his consideration, and be magnanimous in victory.
He enjoined him to remain focused and undistracted as he continue to deliver on more people-oriented projects and programmes, that will make Ogun State the enviable one, among the comity of states.
Oyekan specifically urged Prince Abiodun to focus more on delivering quality and lasting infrastructures, like good roads; completion and activation of legacy projects such as the Gateway Agro Cargo/International Airport at Iperu, and the Olokola Deep Seaport project; affordable healthcare and education; a more robust security architecture; internet connectivity; uninterrupted power supply; and better welfare packages for both serving and retired civil servants, in line with global-best practices.
He also felicitated the Alaperu of Iperu, His Royal Highness, Alayeluwa Oba Adeleke Adelekan Idowu-Basibo (Odoru V), FIEX, FICMC, on this glorious moment, and commend him for his support to the governor and the government of Ogun State.
Oyekan prayed for a more prosperous and progressive reign for the monarch, as the ancient town continue to record more monumental achievements under his leadership.
