Year 2025 Public Service Day Celebrations Start on Friday

The 2025 Public Service Day celebration in Ogun State starts on Friday, June 13, 2025, with a Jumat Service at the Central Mosque, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, by 1:00 pm.

In a statement, the Head of Service, Mr. Kehinde Onasanya, stated that that a commemorative thanksgiving church service will hold on Sunday, June 15, 2025 at the Government House Chapel, Isale-Igbehin, Abeokuta, by 8:30a.m.

This will be followed by a diagnostic programme tagged: ‘Know Your Health Status’ at the Arcade Ground, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, by 9.00a.m. during which civil servants would have the opportunity of checking their health conditions.

Still on lined programmes for the week long celebration, civil servants are billed to partake in various indoor games competitions to be held on Wednesday 18th June, between 9.00a.m. and 12 noon at the Arcade Ground, Oke-Mosan, Governor’s office, while Football Matches for the Male and Female Teams from the Mainstream Civil Service and Parastatals will follow same day at the M.K.O. Abiola Sports Arena, Kuto, Abeokuta by 2 p.m.

The activities will be rounded-off on Thursday, June 19, 2025 with the Public Service Day Lecture with the theme, “Managing the Public Service for Excellence and Service Delivery in the 21st Century: The Role of Innovation, Adaptation, and Technology” at the Obas’ Complex, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta beginning at 10.00a.m
