YOUNG AGRICULTURAL ENTREPRENEURS VISIT MINISTRY OF AGRICULTURE

A team of young Agripreneurs paid a courtesy visit to the Ogun State Commissioner for Agriculture, Dr Adeola Odedina at his Office in Oke-Mosan on Monday, 28th June, 2021.

The young Agripreneurs who recently graduated from Fate Foundation, an Agricultural Training Programme targeted at training aspiring agripreneurs the essential knowledge, strategies, skills, and tools to build sustainable businesses within the entire agribusiness value chain space, came to share their experience and also to identify with Ogun State Ministry of Agriculture.

The Youth Group who had received tremendous exposure and training on Agribusiness, also requested for support, linkage and possible areas of Strategic Partnership, including Training and Introduction of Improved Technology to other youth farmers.

In his Remarks, the Commissioner for Agriculture, Dr Adeola Odedina while receiving the Agripreneurs, admonished them to make maximum use of the knowledge gotten at the training while assuring the team of all necessary support.

The Young Agricultural Entrepreneurs include, Adaeze Akpagbula, Co-Founder FarmSpeak Technology; Abiodun Falomo, Founder Farm Ville Farms; Okonmah Peter, Co- Founder FarmSpeak Technology; Udeme Edem, Founder Nutty Nuts Nigeria Limited; Adams Temilade, Founder Lardex Greenery and Adedara Timothy, Founder Sceptre Agro Limited.

Others in attendance were the Permanent Secretary, Ogun state Ministry of Agriculture, Dr Dotun Sorunke and the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Agriculture, Dr. (Mrs.) Angel Adelaja- Kuye.
